In April 2025, Anna Kosichenko opened Hush & Glow Advanced Facial Bar in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. In June of that year, she began charitable oncology-supportive facial events for people undergoing or recovering from cancer treatment. Further events followed in October 2025 and February 2026.
These appointments helped shape the direction of her educational work. Supporting a client in this setting requires careful listening, respect for individual comfort and medical restrictions, and a willingness to change or postpone a familiar service. The charitable work became an important source of inspiration for an Institute that could bring these questions into professional learning beyond one treatment room.
Anna developed the Kosichenko Oncology Barrier Index, known as K-OBI, to organize non-medical screening, service decisions, and documentation in oncology-supportive esthetics. The framework became the foundation of the Institute’s most developed educational area and helped define its broader focus on complex and sensitive client needs.
The Institute’s educational history includes in-person and online workshops for professionals and sessions with beauty schools. Anna has taught professionals across the United States, with participants also joining from Canada and the Bahamas. This experience informs the development of practical learning materials, while the original K-OBI framework remains provisional and requires formal evaluation.
The platform’s next stage follows a clear publication policy: courses are listed and opened for enrollment only after CE approval has been confirmed for the specific course and delivery format. Previously delivered workshops remain part of the Institute’s history; they are not retrospectively described as CE-approved activities. Articles, publications, and general educational resources remain separate from the course catalog.
H&G Advanced Skin Institute operates under Hush and Glow, LLC, a Florida Board of Cosmetology–approved continuing education provider (Provider No. PVD717). The institute also offers a course approved by the NCEA Commission on Accreditation for 2.0 NCEA Continuing Education Credits.
Our purpose is to make practical, evidence-informed learning accessible while strengthening professional judgment, clear documentation, and respect for client dignity. Oncology-supportive esthetics is our most developed focus. Additional educational areas and contributions from independent experts are being developed with the same attention to evidence and professional boundaries.
About the Founder
Anna Kosichenko is the founder of H&G Advanced Skin Institute and Hush & Glow Advanced Facial Bar, and the developer of K-OBI. She completed her esthetics education at Crave Beauty Academy in 2024 and has obtained esthetics-related licenses in multiple U.S. states.
Her professional development includes oncology-supportive care education, support-group training, research-methodology study, and continuing education. She continues to develop her knowledge through professional learning, association participation, and exchange with educators and practitioners.
Community service remains connected to her educational work. Since April 2026, the Sunday Glow initiative has extended that connection through oncology-supportive gatherings with tea and education. Listening to clients continues to inform questions about comfort, communication, accessibility, and the limits of elective care.
