H&G Advanced Skin Institute provides professional education and informational resources for licensed estheticians and other appropriately credentialed beauty professionals. All content, including frameworks, screening concepts, sample workflows, protocol considerations, case discussions, workshops, publications, and downloadable materials, is provided for educational purposes only.
The Institute does not provide medical advice, medical diagnosis, medical treatment, medical clearance, or healthcare services. Institute materials are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, or manage any disease, disorder, injury, or medical condition. They do not replace evaluation, advice, restrictions, or treatment provided by a qualified healthcare professional.
Institute education does not expand, modify, or supersede any professional license, registration, certification, delegated authority, employer policy, insurance condition, product instruction, or legal scope of practice. Completion of a workshop, receipt of a certificate of attendance, or use of an Institute framework does not authorize a participant to perform a service that is prohibited or restricted in the participant’s jurisdiction.
The platform’s course publication policy requires confirmed CE approval for each course and its delivery format before it is listed or opened for enrollment. General articles, publications, and historical workshop descriptions are separate from approved course offerings. CE approval of an educational activity does not establish clinical validation of an authored framework, expand a professional license, or guarantee acceptance by every licensing authority.
H&G Advanced Skin Institute operates under Hush and Glow, LLC, which is approved by the Florida Board of Cosmetology as a continuing education provider. Provider approval is separate from approval of an individual Florida CE course. Current Florida course applications are under review. The Institute’s NCEA COA approval applies only to the specifically identified educational activity and does not constitute accreditation of the Institute or all Institute programs.
Laws, administrative rules, licensing-board interpretations, permitted services, supervision requirements, documentation standards, infection-control requirements, and referral or medical-clearance expectations vary by state and may change over time. Before applying any Institute information, each professional must independently verify the current requirements and recommendations applicable in the state or other jurisdiction where the professional practices. This includes reviewing guidance from the applicable state licensing board or regulatory agency and, when appropriate, consulting the professional’s employer, insurer, legal counsel, product manufacturer, or a qualified healthcare professional.
Professionals are responsible for practicing only within their current license, verified training, competence, and lawful scope. They must use independent professional judgment and consider the actual service, current visible skin condition, relevant client-reported information, product and equipment instructions, and applicable legal and workplace requirements.
References to cancer treatment, diabetes, medication use, pregnancy, menopause, sensory needs, skin disorders, healing concerns, or other health-related circumstances are included only to support non-medical esthetic education, service planning, recognition of limitations, and appropriate referral. Such references do not authorize an esthetician to diagnose a condition, interpret medical tests, determine medical fitness, advise a client to begin, stop, or change medical treatment, or provide medical care.
When relevant information is unavailable or a concern exceeds the professional’s education, competence, or scope, the appropriate response may be to modify or postpone the elective service and recommend that the client consult a qualified healthcare professional. Medical guidance or clearance, when requested, does not guarantee that an esthetic service will be reaction-free and does not transfer responsibility for remaining within esthetic scope.
Scientific evidence, Institute-developed education, and practice-based professional experience must be identified separately. Practice-based cases and observations describe individual professional experience and must not be interpreted as universal instructions, established scientific evidence, or guaranteed outcomes.
